Gettysburg!

Yes I am still behind. I finally made it to Gettysburg! I have been wanting to go for a long time. We went on July 30, 2013.

So yes I am a little behind....I am no longer in Virginia. But I still have so many more pictures to post from our Goodson Reunion.  We are in fact in Nevada working on my uncle's farm.  More to come on that later...

Helicopters and Patience

Dad was flying the sweet helicopter around one night for everyone to see. We thought it was a pretty sweet present for him.

Then we had an FHE on patience and a marshmallow was placed in front of everyone. You could choose to either eat it right then and only get the one, or wait till after dinner and get two.

Cameron was the only one who ate his right away (pretty much as soon as he could). Haha so then Mike ate his with him to be sweet. 

Goodson Family Reunion/Waterfalls

We went and did a little hike to a beautiful waterfall.

Cameron "no fear" Rust caught a lizard first try. He was lightening fast, it was awesome.

It was beautiful...a little sweaty because Justin and I weren't used to the humidity. But still awesome.

We were able to have our first official Goodson family reunion this year! Everyone made it except for Matt (who is serving a mission in South London and we are so proud of him!). Thanks to a generous check from Bob, Justin and I were able to fly out and make it.  We helped Ashley with Cameron and Taylor on the flight there and back.  The way to Virginia was exciting, but we made it.  We had to run to our connection flight. Turns out Southwest is an awesome airline! I would fly it again (free bags and free drinks and snacks, yummy snacks too, and friendly stewardesses).

It was so great to be home and be with family. I love my family so much! My mom was awesome and took great care of me and tried to get me all better.  I went to the chiropractor every other day. He fixed my foot! He took an x-ray and it wasn’t broken, but I had some arthritis forming and it was very swollen and separated between two of my toes.  It’s very nice to be able to walk on it again. Hooray for the chiropractor!
